Abstract
The qualification course in Corporate Compliance is a joint non-degree programme of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Centre for Innovation and Technology at the Pontifical Catholic Argentinean University. It is designed for a wide range of professionals who have interests in the field of regulatory corporate compliance, including banking managers, company executives, compliance officers, lawyers, legal consultants, internal auditors, specialists in risk assessment and management, employees in banking and financial institutions, etc. The curriculum is in line with the regulatory requirements and trends in the field of corporate compliance. The course is a one-year programme that includes 10 topics divided in two semesters. The lectures are online and each topic is covered in a two-day module during weekends.

First semester 1. Compliance basics 2. Cross-border sanctions regimes 3. Reporting violations of regulations and internal policies. Conducting internal investigations 4. Legal protection of personal data in the EU 5. Anti-corruption legislation and corporate anti-corruption practices |
Second semester 1. Assessment and management of risk related to business partners 2. Measures against money laundering and terrorist financing 3. Protection of Competition 4. Regulatory compliance. Environmental, social, and corporate governance 5. National sanction regimes

The participants will receive a Certificate of Professional Qualification upon successful completion of the course. The certificate will be issued by the Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Centre for Innovation and Technology at the Pontifical Catholic Argentinean University.
The qualification course will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.
